Personalised star map
Birthday star map
The sky on the day they were born, decades ago or last year, with their name and age: a birthday gift that starts from the very first one.
Real star positions for any place, date and time. Design for free; downloading the print files needs an Etsy order.
Date, year and birthplace
Any year
The stars are calculated for the exact date, so a 1958 birthday gets the sky of 1958.
When the time is unknown
For most adults nobody remembers the hour. Choose “I don't know the time”: the sky is shown at 10 pm and no time is printed, as in the example.
The Moon of that day
Constellations come back every year, the Moon doesn't: switch on the Moon phase to print the one from the day of birth.
The planets
Planets move from year to year too. Switch them on and the poster marks where they were, like Saturn in the example.
Words for your poster
Title, subtitle and message: three ideas to start from, all editable in the studio.

Milestone birthdays
For an 18th, 21st, 30th, 40th, 50th or 60th, put the age in the subtitle and the birth date on the poster: the contrast between the two is the whole gift.
For a grandparent, the birthplace can be a small town that no longer appears on maps of today: the sky is the same, write the old name in “Place as printed”.
