The night we met star map
The stars and the Moon exactly as they were above you on the night your story began, calculated for the place, the date and the time you met.
Real star positions for any place, date and time. Design for free; downloading the print files needs an Etsy order.
Finding the exact moment
The place
Search the city where you met. If it was a particular spot, a bar, a beach or a street corner, keep the city for the sky and write your own words in “Place as printed”: the stars stay the same.
The date
Not sure of the day? Old messages, the first photo you took together or the ticket of the concert you went to usually tell you.
The time
The sky turns about 15° every hour, so the time decides which stars are above you. If you only remember “late evening”, choose “I don't know the time”: we show the sky at 10 pm and print no time.
The Moon
Switch on the Moon phase and the poster prints whether it was full, a crescent or a new Moon that night, with its name.
Words for your poster
Title, subtitle and message: three ideas to start from, all editable in the studio.

When to give it
On the anniversary of that night, on Valentine's Day, or as the surprise before a proposal: the place and the date are a story only the two of you know, so the poster needs no explanation on your wall.
If you want to keep it secret, you can design everything without an account and come back to it later in the same browser.
